These starter terms describe how TrustStay works during product testing. Replace with attorney-reviewed terms before public launch.
Platform role
TrustStay provides a marketplace workflow for bookings, cleanliness photo verification, support, and dispute review. Owners are responsible for their listings and property condition.
Photo evidence requirements
Owners must submit required room photos before check-in. Guests must submit arrival photos before accepting or rejecting a stay. Submitting misleading, old, or unrelated photos may result in account restrictions.
Payments
Local demo mode uses simulated payments only. Real payments and payouts require Stripe Connect, identity verification, valid business details, and production configuration.
Taxes, permits, and local rules
Owners are responsible for confirming they can legally host their space and for tax compliance unless TrustStay explicitly states that it collects or remits taxes for that location. Final tax, permit, and platform-fee wording must be reviewed before public launch.
Disputes
TrustStay may review owner photos, guest photos, written reasons, timestamps, and booking details to resolve cleanliness disputes.
Account safety
Users must provide truthful information, protect their account access, and avoid fraudulent bookings, listings, photos, or payment activity.
